Justin Cole
DIRECTOR
Justin is a familiar face to SYRC, having been on the team since 2017. He became Director in 2023 after extensive training. Justin moved to California from Syracuse, New York, in October 2016 to pursue a career in the music industry. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran – having served 8 years as a firefighter. When he isn’t working at the Rec Center, Justin also works as a songwriter and singer/musician. He loves spending time with his wife and dog. Justin ultimately hopes to help make SYRC the best experience possible for every member.
Dan Picarel
MANAGER
Dan joined the SYRC team in the summer of 2018. His duties include billing, member relations, managing staff and general maintenance, and working directly with Justin regarding facility issues and updates.
Dan grew up in Liverpool, New York. He studied Photography in community college and has always had a love for music. Dan started playing guitar when he was 13, then moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue his dream career in the music industry. Dan enjoys reading anything to do with science and learning about space. He also enjoys skateboarding, spending time with his friends and trying all sorts of foods.
Bianca Navarro
STAFF MEMBER
Bianca has quickly become a valuable part of the SYRC team, having been on board since July of 2022. Her duties as a Staff Member include ensuring that the rec center is clean, presentable and stocked, answering phone calls, making sure members have what they need, and enforcing SYRC rules and regulations. Binaca was born and raised in Whittier, CA. She studied mortuary science, but quickly realized her passion was in screenwriting and moved to the valley in 2022 to take this passion more seriously. In her free time, Bianca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing video games, writing scripts, and going to the beach.
