Board Director Elections
The SYRC Board is comprised of five directors, each of whom is a volunteer and member of the Association.
SYRC board directors are elected at an annual meeting of the Members, typically in the Spring, and serve a 1-year term.
All Members in good standing are encouraged to contact the Board’s Management Agent (property manager) if the are interested in serving as a board director.

Member-Board Communication Protocol
The SYRC encourages Members to communicate their suggestions and comments to the Board using the following protocol:
- Members wishing to communicate directly with the Board may attend the monthly meetings of the Board or request a hearing before the Board.
- Members wishing to communicate with the Board outside of a properly noticed meeting must do so via the Board’s Management Agent via email, phone, or US Post.
- Failure to abide by these policies subjects the violator to hearings, potential fines, and, if necessary, further legal action within the scope of the Civil Code.
The Management Agent will respond to written Member communication directly or forward the communication to the Board of Directors for consideration if deemed necessary. Members are not to contact the Board of Directors directly. Directors are volunteers who have the same rights to privacy as well as the peaceful enjoyment of their homes and community.
